Equipment

For my photo shoot I'm using a Canon 100D camera. I have three lens to allow different focal points: 1:1.8 STM EF Lens 50mm, 18-55mm EFS, 75-300. Other than that I have essentials with me like a spare Canon battery, a charger and various memory cards of which I'm most likely to use The Kingston one.

As a rim light I'll be using the lights of the auditorium itself for my Cover picture. I'll also be using these for any secondary images I might take. Since I will be using lowkey lighting this should be enough.

I thought it would be better to introduce a little more uniformity and so I made the first three columns equal in size. I dragged this layer under all the others. I removed the ellipses from the heading of the content page and turned all the textual elements white so they would stand out against the red background. Software To edit the cover picture for my final task, and creating the magazine cover itself, I'll be using Adobe Photoshop. This the software I used and practiced for my preliminary tasks and am therefore comfortable with the software, making it an apt choice. My acquaintance with the tools available and their location in the software only further aids my decision. I can foresee myself using certain tools like gray scale and the poly lasso tool which is going to help me refine the look of my magazine, bringing it to the standard of my target market. I look forward to my creative endeavors.
